My Aunt lives in Cincinnati, and has been emotionally and physicallyabused by her husband of 18 years. She has NOT reported this, or called the police, because, she states, in Ohio, if you call 911 for help, as " you're husband is beating you", or " you're husband has just beat the s--t out of you, you have injuries and need help" .... She is under the impression, that both individuals would be charges with domestic violence, "a felony", and she as a teacher would losse her job.
Is this true?
Also, would she have to give him 1/2 of her portfolio? He has nothing, and she has quite an impressive amount invested wisely.
