It amazes me that people don't have enough common sense that you have publish a blog describing proper attire for a court appearance but, alas, it is essential. I have seen some totally inappropriate attire in court. It is as if people are dressing to go to a night club. Thanks for this practical advice. It is important for a person to feel comfortable and confident, but that doesn't mean 'backyard bbq' comfortable. Certainly it is in every individuals best interest to not distract a judge with any negative impressions, be it clothing, piercings, gum, or other such accessories. Sensible advice.
