Tom Cecil, who retired from HCM&M in 1992 after a 40-year legal career, is the President of the Lincoln Society of Dayton. The mission of the Society is to raise money to commission and erect a statue of Abraham Lincoln in front of the Old Dayton Courthouse. Tom and Lincoln impersonator, Jim Crabtree, were on hand at the Courthouse for Urban Nights on September 11th in part to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Lincoln's historic speech in Dayton. Tom is fondly remembered at the firm for his extensive bow tie collection, his sense of humor and the warm manner in which he dispensed sound legal advice.
